Spring Blooms, Seas Turn Green

We welcome spring to the Caribbean and with it a mysterious green algae that blooms in the waters surrounding the islands. Legend has it that algae bloom is an omen of things to come - that green seas attract large sea creatures, like whales and giant squids.
Some though say it was the Irish Pirate Shamus O' Malley - not algae - that turned the sea green. Shamus it seemed couldn't bear to see the green inks and dyes intended for the Caribbean Saint Patrick's celebration shipped off to Europe. So he and other pirates raided EITC ships and dumped their cargos of ink and dyes into the ocean (saving enough for the shopkeepers, of course). What do you think happened?

Where in the Caribbean is Shamus O' Malley?

The Marceline Guild has a curious new crewmate, a Pirate from Ireland by the name of Shamus O'Malley. Shamus is a proud Irishman and a very lucky Pirate - he and his family have collected quite a fortune.Every year on St. Patrick's Day, Shamus celebrates his heritage by sharing his good fortunes with other Pirates - and giving away his hard earned fortune! But Shamus doesn't just stand around on the docks of Port Royal handing out pots of gold. You see, Shamus is uncomfortable in large crowds, so often he's found hiding in some brush or tucked away in a quiet shop.If you spot Shamus on St. Patrick's Day, walk up to him, greet him, and whisper to him this secret phrase: "This be my lucky day Shamus!"

Isla Tesoro

Isla Tesoro was an island located in the Caribbean originally under the administration of Magistrate Carlos. Isla Tesoro was a Spanish port as evidenced by the place names, Spanish-style armor and villagers speaking Spanish or speaking in Spanish accents.
The main port was the
Village Mare, where it is presumed most of the inhabitants lived. Isla Tesoro was assaulted by a large group of pirates who were responsible for numerous acts of violence and destruction; including taking women hostage and selling them as "brides", torturing the magistrate, assaulting the villagers and setting the village itself ablaze.
Jack Sparrow arrived on Isla Tesero and attempted to learn the location of the Village Mare's treasure stores. He was pursued by Captain Hector Barbossa, who was then aboard the Wicked Wench.

Fernando

a known Rumrunner. He has a Spanish origin and is wanted by the East India Trading Company and Royal Navy for smuggling illegal goods. He usually can be found in the Skull's Thunder tavern on Padres Del Fuego. When someone needs to secretly smuggle something, Fernando is the one they come to. It is possible that Captain Jack Sparrow has met Fernando more than once...

The Skull's Thunder is a tavern located in Padres Del Fuego, it is a Spanish styled building. Here many smugglers and pirates come. The Bartender is Rico. This is also a known hideout for Fernando.
